- New flight physics based on Airfoil
We have been hard at work to provide you with a flight physics worth to be called Real. Our flight physics has been rewritten from scratch and simulates now each airplane according to its real flight specs based on airfoil data. Enjoy and let us know your feedback at [email protected]
- New airplane engines physics
We obviously had to adapt also the physics of every airplane engine, getting data from manufacturer sheets and providing you with real power and thrust for each plane in every condition and altitude
- New airplane engines sounds
But what is physics without sounds? We changed all airplanes external and cockpit sounds according to their real engine: pump up the volume and enjoy!
- V-Speeds adjusted to weight
Internal V-Speeds calculator allows you to have always correct Vspeeds according to weight changes you do in the airplane setup
- VR and Vref display on Hud
VR and Vref speeds are now displayed on the HUD to help you keep everything under control during takeoff and landing
- New autotrim (THS)
Trim is automatically managed to keep your plane always in the best balanced condition
- New overspeed management
Every plane has a different maximum VMO/MMO (Maximum operating speed) speed that is indicated on the HUD. Going beyond this speed will trigger fluttering and possible plane destruction
- New 10000ft alarm
Aviation regulations are imposing a speed limit of 250kts under 10.000ft, which is now managed by an alarm
- 6 chars Callsign
You can now insert a 6 characters Callsign (from Account) that will be shown to other players in multiplayer or in ATC comms
- Spoiler new selection order
We changed the order of the SPOILER settings to make it more easy to access speed brakes (down: 1-2-3) or Armed (up: A). Default is set to 0
- Removed HUD from some views
The HUD view has been removed from all external views not aligned to aircraft
